Guest of the first Design Dialogues in 2017 is a young designer Marina Jukić, design team leader and digital designer for mobile and web applications at Infinum (Zagreb, Croatia).
In her spare time Marina is doing contemporary dance within a troup led by dancer, lecturer and designer Martina Granić. Recently she has started a VJ collective with friends and colleagues Ena Jurov and Leila Kasumović, whose first performance will occur next Friday (January 20) at the autonomous cultural center Nigdjezemska (Neverland) in Zadar. Among other things, we’ll talk with Marina about numerous projects she had worked on (both individually and collectively), development stage of digital design in Croatia and Infinum’s role in its evolution, balance between client and self-initiated work, as well as connection between her visual language and contemporary trends in youth (sub)culture, both music-wise and otherwise.
Design Dialogues are coordinated and hosted by designer and writer Bojan Krištofić, member of CDSS team. As a sales and exhibition space intended for products and concepts of domestic designers, CDSS initiates their gathering, networking and market promotion, while the audience gets a chance to meet the designers and get informed through casual and direct get-together. See you!
